Genetically Modified Organisms are created when genes from one species, such as bacteria, viruses or human, are forced into the DNA of another crop, or even into animals to produce new traits. This relatively new technology is becoming more and more widespread as chemical companies keep creating new strains of DNA altered seeds, and forcing farmers to use them.

Companies in the U.S. today spend some $17 billion yearly advertising to children, a 150-fold increase from just a few decades ago. Some cash-strapped school districts have even started selling ads on and sometimes in their school buses as a way to bolster sagging education budgets.
