Cherry Blossoms: Japan Fest at the Museum of Natural History

The Museum of Natural History celbrates "Cherry Blossoms: Japan Fest" for the 100th anniversary of the gift of Japanese cherry blossoms to New York City with four days of family-friendly activities.

Wednesday-Friday, March 14-16

Woven Cherry Blossom Installation, Flower Arranging, Origami, and Ink Brush Painting 

Saturday, March 17
12pm–2:30 pm, Kaufmann Theater, 1st floor
Shinto Blessing, Okinawan Dance and Music, and Taiko Drums

12pm–5 pm, Hall of Birds of the World, 2nd floor
Woven Cherry Blossom Installation, Flower Arranging, Origami, Ink Brush Painting, and Tea Ceremony

12pm–5 pm, Grand Gallery, first floor
Games, Kamishibai Storytelling, Art of Cloth Wrapping, and Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Disaster Information
