March in Response to Hate Crimes Against LGBT Community—Today!

Following a string of heinous bias attacks against gay men, including the murder of a 32 year old man on Friday night, community members, elected officials, LGBT community leaders and allies will march to the site of Friday's shooting to demand an end to hate crimes against the LGBT community and to reclaim the City for all New Yorkers.

At the end of the march, community members, elected officials including Speaker Christine C. Quinn, LGBT community leaders, and allies will rally to denounce hate violence, call for justice and to mourn the death of Marc Carson.

It begins at the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center 208 West 13th Street at 5:30 pm and conclude on West 8th Street and 6th Avenue where participants will rally at 6:00pm.
